Important Note on EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing) Requirements:

For those not opting for the Pipe Framing Kit add-on, we’ll guide you in sourcing 1-inch EMT (for DIY Series) or 2-inch (for Pro and Curved Series from your local hardware store. We'll provide all necessary details, including lengths and quantities required.

Note:

  • EMT is the US trade name of the material, however, the true outer diameter is 1.163" or 27mm for 1-inch and 2.197″ or 55.8mm for 2-inch.

Do you need a computer for SkyTrak+?

You can run SkyTrak+ with a PC, specified iOS devices, or certain Android phones.

Do you need a projector with SkyTrak Plus?

No, you do not have to have a projector. You can hit it into a net, use an iPad or phone, or cast/mirror it to a TV. However, for a totally immersive virtual golf experience, a projector with a golf studio setup is recommended.

How much room do I need for a SkyTrak+ launch monitor?

Generally speaking, a room that is 10 feet wide, 10 feet deep, and 9 feet tall is recommended.

How Much Space Do I Need for SkyTrak+ Carl's Place Studio?

When measuring for a golf simulator, make sure you take into account:

  • Buffer space: You don't want your golf simulator right up next to any walls or ceiling. Balls that contact the walls or ceiling can cause damage and have unwanted bounce back.
  • Footprint of the golf enclosure: Make sure to check the actual dimensions of the enclosure footprint. Our C-Series enclosures have built-in buffer space in the rear with the backset rear fitting.
  • Safe golfing distance away from the screen: For the safety of both the golfer and the screen, we recommend standing a minimum distance of 10 to 12 feet away from the screen.
  • Height of the golfer(s)
  • Length of the golf club(s)
  • Turf thickness, heating ducts, and soffits
  • Furniture and access to doorways

SKYTRAK PLUS SOFTWARE OPTIONS:

Basic - FREE

Good news! You don’t have to pay for a subscription to enjoy your SkyTrak+ (but you’re probably going to want to). Their Basic package gives you their simple driving range. You do get your shot data history as well. So, if all you want to do is use your SkyTrak+ to hit the regular driving range, fire away for free!

SkyTrak Essential - $129.95/year

This is where the good stuff starts. It costs $129.95 a year, but the Essential package, which replaces the old SkyTrak+ Game Improvement package, gives you the new driving range experiences, Skills Challenge, and Bag Mapping. You get a free 30-day trial of the Essential plan when you buy a SkyTrak+.

SkyTrak Course Play - $349.95/year

Remember all those sweet new simulator golf courses we were talking about, including Pebble Beach and a bunch of other biggies? Well, they are going to cost you $349.95 a year. However, that price does include the SkyTrak Essential plan, meaning you’ll get all of the other enhancements, including the new driving ranges and other game-improvement features.

2025 UPDATE:Now when you add SkyTrak’s Course Play software, you get to choose between the two leaders in golf mapping:TrackmanandForesight. Trackman was the one and only original Course Play option. But you can now choose Course Play powered by Foresight. Both include 30 world class golf courses to enjoy from the comfort of your own home!

Per manufacturer policy, all SkyTrak+ purchases are eligible for Free 30-Day Returns Only (not 60-Day Returns). Only shipment destinations within the United States are allowed. SkyTrak+ software subscriptions, once activated, are no longer eligible for return/refund. Any product that is purchased from PlayBetter and resold is no longer valid for returns. Return requests must be initiated by original buyer and accompanied by original purchase receipt. Any units registered to another customer name other than the original buyer will NOT be eligible for returns or exchanges. No customer may purchase more than two (2) SkyTrak+ packages without first contacting the PlayBetter team.
