You Read Correctly ... A COBRA Putter (13 to Be Exact)
COBRA Golf has been making mold-breaking golf clubs since 1975. But raise your hand if you can remember the last time they made a putter? Can't recall? Neither could we. That's because COBRA wasn't interested in innovating putters until it was called for. Evidently, the 2020 golf season called.
According to Golf Datatech, the July 2020 numbers in golf equipment sales went into record-setting territory, with putters up 32% in units, 36% in dollars.
And of course, COBRA, famous for its ingenious, sometimes baffling, golf technology, was not going to meet demand without its signature innovative flare.
In the case of putters, this was done partnering with HP to create the KING 3D Printed Series. The result is a multi-material construction (see images next door) using a 3D printed nylon lattice, forged aluminum, tungsten weights, and SIK Face Technology to create their most forgiving putters.
COBRA's KING Vintage Putter Series consists of more nostalgic shapes that are named after classic cars. But don't let that fool you. They incorporate the SIK Face Technology and an adjustable weight system that give these putters an edge in ball-roll stability and consistency.
The 3D Printed Series has 3 innovative shapes with a total of 6 golf putters to choose from. And the Vintage Series has 4 classic shapes with 7 putters to choose from.
First, we'll break down the material and technology features in each series. Then we'll tell you about each putter. There's really something for every golfer in the COBRA KING Putter Family Lineup. Read on to find your golf putter!
