Daniel Fitzpatrick grew up on an Iowa farm measuring his 7-iron with his dad's field measuring wheel. Twenty years later, he's worked with tour pros, spent seven and a half years at a launch monitor manufacturer, and now runs PlayBetter's sales concierge team. He plays to a 2.6 handicap and lives in Key West.

Marc "Shef" Sheforgen once biked more than 10,000 miles around the entire perimeter of the United States the summer after high school. He spent 20 years helping build a world-class vinyl company before golf pulled him in, and now writes about golf tech full time. He's not a tour-level player, so he tests gear with the same frustrations and goals you have.

Together, they talk golf tech the way you'd talk about it with friends at the range: honest, useful, and always focused on helping you play BETTER.
