Does Foresight GC3S launch monitor require a subscription?

The lower-priced GC3S model requires a subscription to use it as a simulator (that’s the S part of GC3S). The subscription includes ball & club data plus FSX Play simulator software and FSX Pro performance analysis software. The first year of Foresight Sports software subscription is included in the purchase price.

Is the Foresight GC3S reliable, offering accurate performance data?

According to our golf reviewer, Marc, of all the launch monitors under $10,000 that he’s tested, the two that are the most accurate are Foresight Sports GC3 the and the Bushnell Launch Pro. The GC3S is the exact same launch monitor as the GC3 (and original Bushnell Launch Pro). The difference is that the subscription is not bundled into the purchase price.

Is Foresight the best golf simulator?

Foresight Sports launch monitors are regarded as the gold standard in camera-based launch monitors for accuracy and their FSX simulation software is some of the most realistic for a lifelike home play experience.

Does GC3S require club stickers?

Yes, you will need club markers for club data, not for ball data. You must put one sticker on your club face only.

Will an iPad work with the Foresight GC3S?

You can only use an iPad with a GC3S (or any Foresight Sports launch monitor) with the FSX Pro software—which is dedicated performance insight platform for the game's best players, coaches and club fitters. NOTE: A gaming PC with at least the minimum specs is required to run Foresight Sports software, FSX Play or FSX 2020 or any third-party simulation software.

Why are smartphones and iPads shown in images with the GC3S if you need a gaming PC?

You can use a smartphone with the new LINK-Enabled technology. Perform a MyBag Assessment through the Foresight App on your smartphone and a Foresight Sports launch monitor (via Bluetooth connection), hitting at least 3 shots with each club in your bag. Then link your Foresight App account with the Bushnell Golf app to sync your data, and push the MyBag information to your Pro X3 LINK rangefinder. Images with iPads show how you can use FSX Pro on an iPad. HOWEVER, to use FSX Play or FSX 2020 or any compatible third-party simulation software, you must have a gaming PC with the minimum system requirements to use it.
