Combined with grade simulation up to 20% and sprint support up to 2,200 watts, the Nera handles everything from structured workouts to max effort sprints without holding back. For an even more immersive experience, the Nera is compatible with the Tacx Alpine gradient simulator, extending simulated ascents to 25% and simulated descents to negative 10%.

Delivers 1% Power and Cadence Accuracy

Power and cadence accuracy within 1% on the Garmin Tacx Nera smart trainer gives you training data you can build a structured program around. Every watt and every pedal stroke is measured precisely so your indoor numbers mean the same thing as your outdoor numbers. Race Mode tightens the connection response for virtual racing sessions, giving you a faster and more competitive feel when the pace picks up in Zwift or compatible platforms. Built-in Wi-Fi delivers a stable, reliable connection so dropouts do not interrupt training sessions or race efforts.

  • Power accuracy within 1% for reliable, structured training data
  • Cadence accuracy within 1% on every ride
  • Race Mode delivers a fast response during virtual racing sessions
  • Built-in Wi-Fi for stable, reliable connection to compatible training apps
  • Pairs with Zwift, ROUVY, the Tacx Training app, and other compatible platforms
  • Compatible with Tacx Alpine gradient simulator for virtual steering and immersive ascents

Get Rolling Faster. Comes With a Built-In Cassette and Zwift-Ready Options

The Zwift Cog and Click option adds pre-installed Zwift Cog compatibility with a cassette body that works with almost any 8 to 13 speed drivetrain when used in Zwift and ROUVY. Zwift Click attaches to any handlebar and puts virtual shifting, ride-ons, menu navigation, and steering controls at your fingertips without reaching for a keyboard or phone. The standard Nera is available without Zwift Cog and Click for riders who do not need virtual shifting controls.

  • Built-in cassette included on all Nera configurations
  • Zwift Cog and Click option: pre-installed Zwift Cog compatible with 8 to 13 speed drivetrains

  • Steer, navigate menus, give ride-ons, and shift virtual gears from the bars
  • Standard Nera available without Zwift Cog and Click for non-Zwift riders
