Short Throw Design for Golf Simulators and Small Spaces

Designed for home golf simulators and small entertainment spaces, the Optoma GT2300HDR short throw laser projector throws a 100-inch image from less than 4 feet away, placing it right behind your hitting mat without your swing casting a shadow across the screen. No dedicated room, no high ceilings, and no long throw distance required. The same short throw lens scales up to 300 inches from about 11 feet away, giving you flexibility across garage bays, basements, and spare rooms of any size.

  • 100-inch image from less than 4 feet away, shadow-free behind the hitting mat
  • Scales from 100 to 300 inches from about 4 to 11 feet away
  • Fits garage bays, basements, spare rooms, and small entertainment spaces
  • No dedicated room or high ceilings required
  • Compatible with standard impact screens for golf simulator setups
  • Compact design mounts close to the wall or sits on a shelf or table

Full HD 1080p Brightness and Golf Sim Color Mode

At 3,600 lumens in Full HD 1080p, the GT2300HDR delivers a sharp, bright image even with ambient light present — a practical necessity for garage and basement simulator setups where controlling every light source is not always possible. The dedicated Golf Sim color mode tunes the image specifically for simulation software, enhancing blue skies, deepening shadows, and bringing out natural green grass tones so every course looks accurate and vivid. HDR10 and HLG compatibility add depth and texture to both course visuals and entertainment content.

  • 3,600 lumens Full HD 1080p output, bright enough for ambient light environments
  • Dedicated Golf Sim color mode tuned for simulation software visuals
  • Enhances blue skies, natural greens, and shadow depth for realistic course rendering
  • HDR10 and HLG compatible for deeper detail and more lifelike images
  • Rec.709 color gamut for accurate cinematic color reproduction
  • Game Mode optimizes contrast and color for gaming content

Low Input Lag and Real-Time Ball Flight

Input latency on the GT2300HDR runs at 8.4ms at 1080p 120Hz, keeping ball flight visuals in sync with your swing data in real time so what you see on the impact screen matches what your launch monitor is reporting. The 1080p 120Hz support also makes it a capable option for casual gaming when the simulator bay doubles as an entertainment setup. 4K UHD input is supported and displayed at 1080p 60Hz with 17ms latency for higher-resolution source content.

  • 8.4ms input latency at 1080p 120Hz for real-time ball flight sync
  • Supports 1080p 120Hz for smooth, responsive simulation and gaming
  • 4K UHD input supported, displayed at 1080p 60Hz with 17ms latency
  • Full HD 1080p resolution with no downscaling or compression from HD sources
  • Compatible with Blu-ray, HD broadcasting, and gaming content
  • One projector covers simulator play, entertainment, and casual gaming

DuraCore Laser Technology and Smart Control

Laser illumination delivers consistent brightness and superior color performance from the first session through the last, with instant on and off so there is no warm-up wait before a round. The Optoma Smart Control app handles geometry correction, image settings, and power control from your phone, with Smart Fit using your smartphone camera to detect the screen frame and automatically correct image alignment.
