It's o.k but......

"Watch face is a little small to my Garmin 62. Also operation kind of jittery, still not stable."

Can be Difficult

"I've had this watch for about 8 months. It can work great and can drive you nuts. On the course many features work great but adding penalty shots are very difficult during play and I have to add after download. Distance to hazards is very useful and accurate. I've had 3 tag break but customer service has been great and replaced them every time. My big issue is downloading. The watch many times won't sink and when it does it drops halfway through the download. Some times it takes me 20 tries before downloading my round. Many good features but Shot Scope needs a serious software update."

Really Wanted to Love It

"Positives: The watch catches 90% of my shots and gives good yardages. The data you get is great! Negatives: Watch will skip holes sometimes and it's very difficult to get back to the correct hole while you're trying to play. The touchscreen is a bit finicky especially if it's wet. The biggest problem I have is with the app which is super slow especially to load."

Some Problems

"The watch is great, the tags not so much, the customer service is nonexistent. Several of my tags have broken. I had a couple replaced but nothing since. I have written Shot Scope several times to no avail. A total of five tags have broken. The watch is 5/stars, the tags three, customer service 2."

Shot Scope X5 watch

"My initial thought when I saw this, was that it would be a major step up from my old GPS watch that did not do shot tracking. However, the frequent failure to pick up shots and the wonky watch face that often does not respond to my finger swipes was too cumbersome to use in real time on the golf course. I found myself fooling around with the watch rather than focusing on my game. The GPS only feature works, but the shot tracking was hit and miss. Overall not satisfied with this product."

Two rounds in and not good :(

"I’ve committed to giving this watch a few more rounds, but the first two rounds at the weekend were bad. Charged the device to 100% and inserted the sensors in each club. On the course the watch read all tee shots, but less than half of the shots everywhere else. The putting tracker was a learning process and I have to still to find the screen where you can move the pin. Updating the correct shots on the dashboard took a long time and then the following day, having switched the watch off overnight, the battery died on the 13th hole."

Great Watch

"So I had this watch a bit, and i have to say its really good. Easy to use. The distances seem to be very accurate. I like that you have tracking devices included with purchase, so you can review your round and stats on the app. My only complaints are- i wish it had more battery life, and I don't get why the straps face the other way? But overall i really think it is worth the money."

Still learning it

"Because our weather is whack right now, have only been on two small test runs for a total of 15 holes. There is some promise to what this set up offers over the app I was using. Major plus, the tags come with the purchase and offer enough for all clubs I carry plus a few extra’s remaining. I carry a standard bag. After getting the app to sync with watch, took me some time to navigate through setting up my club set but its golf related, I have patience. Getting it out on the course for a short test run I noticed a few glitches like the watch not picking up the SW at all, then did, then didn’t. Might be the tag. Will try switching with another X-tag and see. Then I had to get used to remembering locking in pin position on final putt. Might be a minor inconvenience when you’re in a flow. But generally, i am pleased with what I’ve got from what I had. Dialing in the stats without much to fiddle around with like an app and the cost point for what I get is good right now. Need to get it out on course more soon."

Good Watch

"The watch is accurate but some features need work. It is difficult to record penalty shots. I know, don't hit in the water. This should be an option listed after hole is completed like Garmin. I didn't like having to scroll through a menu to add. Also discovered you can't edit your shot or score on the app once downloaded. Edit must be done prior to downloading."
