The Ultimate 2025 Bushnell Rangefinder Buyer’s Guide

It’s no secret that Bushnell leads the golf rangefinder product class pack by a decent margin.

The pros use their devices. They’re the preferred lasers of really serious amateurs. And even average-Joe, weekend warriors who want the best have adopted Bushnell as their go-to brand.

(This just in: According to the latest findings from The Darrell Survey, the gold standard in independent golf equipment tracking, an overwhelming 98.6 percent of players at the 2025 Players Championship relied on a Bushnell Golf laser rangefinder for pinpoint accuracy. They also introduced the A1-Slope, Bushnell’s first-ever pocket-sized rangefinder and their first to include a rechargeable battery.

And they also announced a product released late this spring, the Tour Hybrid, which combines GPS and rangefinder functionalities in an all-in-one product.

All of these new rangefinders add to what was already a robust line. Very quickly, consumers could find themselves with Bushnell option overload.

That’s what this guide is about. I’ve tested almost all of these on the course, and for the ones I haven’t tested, I’ve at least seen and held them in-person.

I’m going to give you the black-and-white features info for each model along with my first-hand-experience opinions, all with the hopes of helping you understand which Bushnell rangefinder is the best choice for you.

Their durability and reliability have become calling cards with owners investing in a Bushnell and then owning it for several years.

This was my go-to, daily rangefinder for a long time. Why? Because it works flawlessly. The readouts are instant. I love the jolt vibration. And, even though the 6x magnification isn’t as sweet as the 7x with the Pro X3+LINK, I found the optics to be crystal clear. I love this laser.

My Experience with the Bushnell Tour V6

This is the exact same rangefinder as the V6 Shift, except for without slope-adjusted yardages. But, you know what? Not everybody needs slope. I love the Tour V6 for all the same reasons I love the Shift version. Mostly because of the consistency, optics, and build quality.

Full disclosure: I haven’t yet tested this model. That’s coming soon, so stay tuned to the PlayBetter Golf Blog for a complete review. But I did check out the A1-Slope at the 2025 PGA Show, enough to know that I’m excited to try this out. I love smaller rangefinders. To me, playing with a rangefinder that I can carry in my pocket without obstruction is really attractive. I’m not sure I’m crazy about the rechargeable battery, but a lot of people may prefer it.

My Experience with the Bushnell Tour Hybrid

This is one that I only got to see at the PGA Show, but I’m excited to give it a try on the course. I didn’t really get a chance to test out the GPS features, because I was trying this product in the middle of a convention center. But, hey, it’s Bushnell. Is there any reason not to believe that the Tour Hybrid golf rangefinder will be great?
