Do you need a computer for SkyTrak+?

You can run SkyTrak+ with a PC, specified iOS devices, or certain Android phones.

Do you need a projector with SkyTrak Plus?

No, you do not have to have a projector. You can hit it into a net, use an iPad or phone, or cast/mirror it to a TV. However, for a totally immersive virtual golf experience, a projector with a golf studio setup is recommended.

How much room do I need for a SkyTrak+ launch monitor?

Generally speaking, a room that is 10 feet wide, 10 feet deep, and 9 feet tall is recommended.

How Much Space Do I Need for SkyTrak+ & PlayBetter SimStudio™ Home Golf Simulator Package?

The nice thing about a photometric golf launch monitor like the SkyTrak+ is that the unit sits to the side of the ball rather than from behind it like is the case with radar-based units. That means you need only enough room depth or length so that you can comfortably swing a golf club and your ball can hit the impact screen without ricocheting back into you. We recommend about 8 feet of space between the ball and your impact screen and a total of 12 feet of room depth to allow you to swing freely.

For ceiling height, you’ll need to take into account the height of the enclosure you choose while also making sure you can swing your longest golf club comfortably with no risk of hitting the ceiling. Those height requirements will vary depending on the height and swing planes of the golfers using the sim studio.

And for room width, you’ll again need to be mindful of which size enclosure you choose. And while your hitting area shouldn’t exceed the width of your enclosure, you’ll still need to test to be sure you have enough width to comfortably swing a golf club without the risk of damaging any walls.

SKYTRAK PLUS SOFTWARE OPTIONS:

Basic - FREE

Good news! You don’t have to pay for a subscription to enjoy your SkyTrak+ (but you’re probably going to want to). Their Basic package gives you their simple driving range. You do get your shot data history as well. So, if all you want to do is use your SkyTrak+ to hit the regular driving range, fire away for free!

SkyTrak Essential - $129.95/year

This is where the good stuff starts. It costs $129.95 a year, but the Essential package, which replaces the old SkyTrak+ Game Improvement package, gives you the new driving range experiences, Skills Challenge, and Bag Mapping. You get a free 30-day trial of the Essential plan when you buy a SkyTrak+.

E6 Software Pack - $249.95/year

This option also includes the Essential package. Plus you get 15 simulator courses and eight challenges from TruGolf E6. The cost is $249.95 per year.

SkyTrak Course Play - $349.95/year

Remember all those sweet new simulator golf courses we were talking about, including Pebble Beach and a bunch of other biggies? Well, they are going to cost you $349.95 a year. However, that price does include the SkyTrak Essential plan, meaning you’ll get all of the other enhancements, including the new driving ranges and other game-improvement features.

Per manufacturer policy, all SkyTrak+ purchases are eligible for Free 30-Day Returns Only (not 60-Day Returns). Only shipment destinations within the United States are allowed. SkyTrak+ software subscriptions, once activated, are no longer eligible for return/refund. Any product that is purchased from PlayBetter and resold is no longer valid for returns. Return requests must be initiated by original buyer and accompanied by original purchase receipt. Any units registered to another customer name other than the original buyer will NOT be eligible for returns or exchanges. No customer may purchase more than two (2) SkyTrak+ packages without first contacting the PlayBetter team. PlayBetter reserves the right to cancel any SkyTrak+ order for any reason.
