The Approach R10 is simple to set up but does need proper spacing for accurate tracking:

  • Place the unit 6–8 feet behind the ball.
  • Allow at least 8 feet of ball flight into your net or screen.
  • Recommended total room depth: 14 feet.
  • Minimum indoor ceiling height: 9 feet.
  • Width of at least 10 feet for safe swings.

Make sure the unit is level with your hitting mat, and align the red line on the device with your tee and target line. The R10 connects through the Garmin Golf app, which also enables integration with third-party simulator software.
